MOT’s only £45.00

MOT OVERVIEW

If your vehicle is more than 3 years old, then you need to have an MOT each year. MOT testing is a legal requirement for all cars, motorcycles and vehicles over 3 years old, with the purpose of making sure that your car meets the minimum safety requirements.

Without a valid MOT, your car insurance and road tax become invalidated and your car may not be road worthy. Therefore it is important that you make sure your MOT certificate is in date and you book your next MOT before your current certificate expires.

Here at PAC we offer Class 4 MOT (for cars and light vans). This needs to be carried out on cars that can carry up to eight passengers, motor caravans, three-wheeled vehicles that weigh more than 450 kg, quads that are a maximum of 400 kg of unladen weight, goods carrying quads with a weight limit of 500 kg and maximum net power of 15 kw, dual purpose vehicles, private hire and public service vehicles with up to eight seats, ambulances, taxis and private passenger vehicles and ambulances with between nine and 12 passenger seats.

There is NO obligation for onsite repair work if your vehicle fails its MOT. You do not have to have the repair work done by us, giving you that extra peace of mind.

VOSA REQUIREMENTS

Under the VOSA requirements, before we can issue an MOT certificate our technicians will check the following:

Vehicle Identification Number Windscreen
Registration Plate Horn
Lights Seats & Belts
Steering & Suspension Fuel System
Wipers & Washer Bottle Emissions
Bodywork Doors & Mirrors
Wheels & Tyres Brakes

Remember – your vehicle can be MOT’d up to 1 calendar month before the due date and the date will be “post dated” so you don’t lose any days. This way you avoid any last minute rush!
