Today’s vehicle braking systems involve many different elements working together to help you to stop and manoeuvre your vehicle in a controlled manner. The key elements of your vehicle braking system include a master cylinder, servo, brake callipers, brake fluid and cylinders, disks, drums, pads and shoes. All the elements are linked by a series of brake hoses and brake pipes containing brake fluid, so when you press your brake pedal the vehicle slows down and stops.
Your clutch is crucial in the transmission of any manual car, and controls whether or not the car transmits engine power to the wheels through the gearbox. Clutch parts are varied but equally important, from drive plates to cover assemblies, bearings, concentric slave cylinders, flywheels and more. It is important, when replacing the clutch, that you buy the right parts for your car.
Here at PAC supply clutch parts for every make and model of vehicle, and will ensure that you get the right parts at a competitive price.

What are the signs of brake wear?
It’s not always obvious that your car brake pads and discs need replacing but there are a few warning signs to look out for.
If you hear any unusual noise such as car brakes squeaking or juddering when braking, or if you find your vehicle pulling to one side you may need to have your vehicle braking system inspected. Simple wear and tear can also mean that you experience a reduction in brake performance.
What are the signs of a faulty clutch?
Below are the common symptoms that you may experience when the clutch in your vehicle is failing. If you experience any of the below, bring your vehicle in to PAC and one of our expert technicians will be able to perform a clutch check to diagnose the cause of the problem.
Judder Symptoms: Severe low frequency vibration
Slip Symptoms: Engine accelerates without giving a corresponding increase in vehicle speed, burning smell, vehicle will not drive up steep hills
Drag Symptoms: Difficulty in engaging first gear from neutral without making noise, jolt when changing gear with the vehicle in motion, vehicle moves when pedal is fully depressed.
